Bishop Mark Tanner will be formally enthroned at Chester Cathedral on Saturday 26 June at 2pm in a service that will be live-streamed on YouTube.The symbolic service marks the final stage in the appointment process.

Elections to the Diocesan Synod

The Diocesan Secretary, George Colville, says the process for elections to the Diocesan Synod is due to start with the issue of nomination papers to Deanery Synod members on 17 May. The deadline for returning them will be 11 June.


Register now for LLF taster days

90 laps of the City Walls by 90 year old

The Reverend Canon John Stanley, OBE, who is 90 on 20 May has challenged himself to walk the City Walls of Chester 90 times by his birthday. He aims to complete his goal on Thursday 20 May 2021.
