Churches in the Diocese of Chester who have an ACNY account will be pleased to hear that there are some new extra features available for editors which include:
- Dedicated safeguarding information box for church homepages - available now. This frees up the church homepage introduction text block to focus the church's welcome message, while clearly highlighting safeguarding information.
- Online Services Register - available now. This is an optional alternative to a paper Services Register; which automatically feeds data through to your Statistics for Mission return, saving churches time at the end of the year.
- Improved benefice functionality and features for people who edit more than one church - coming w/c 13 March. Includes ability to list events at benefice level and display them at benefice level and/or individual church level. We will give you and your churches more information before launch.
- Church Development Tool reopens for 2023 - coming on 1 April. Option for churches to run a survey with their worshipping community and get a report on demographics, discipleship and evangelism in their church
Most churches in the Diocese of Chester have an account with ACNY, but if you haven't then you can sign up for an ACNY account here.
Displaying out-of-date information on your ACNY page can be a bit off-putting for people who might be looking to attend an active and vibrant church in their area. That's why it's a good idea to update your ACNY account on a regular basis, at least once a month, just to make sure that the information on your church is correct and up to date. So, please take a little time to give your ACNY page a refresh as it's a great way to tell people where your church is and what it offers.
