More than Neighbours - Dr Casey Strine

Invitation to all Clergy – we have an exciting day coming up that we would like to invite you to on Saturday 1st March at the Mere Court Hotel in Knutsford. The day is mainly for curates and training incumbents but as we have some extra spaces we can offer; we wanted to give you the opportunity to come as well.

Dr Casey Strine is Senior Lecturer in Ancient Near Eastern History & Literature at the University of Sheffield and Theological Adviser to the House of Bishops. He will be speaking about people migration, looking at Old and New Testaments and linking to the contemporary context, with all the issues this and every nation is facing around people movement and migration. The day runs from 9.30am till 4.00pm with a mix of input and interaction and it promises to be a stimulating, thought-provoking and practically rooted day. Lunch is included.
