Quizzing with Bishop Mark

We've all become accustomed to online quizzes and family fun in recent weeks, so this week, the Bishop-elect of Chester, Bishop Mark Tanner, will take part in his own with young people across Cheshire. There are two online events planned for Tuesday 23 June at which young people and the bishop will discuss a range of topics, from the fun to the serious.

The events will be led by Jonathan Masters, Youth, Children and Families Missioner in the Diocese of Chester and will be an opportunity to learn more about Bishop Mark and his priorities as we look ahead to his arrival and a new chapter in the history of our diocese.

Jonathan Masters says: "It will be wonderful to show the Bishop-elect of Chester the vibrancy of young people across the diocese – the best way to do this is to introduce him to our amazing young people. Everyone is invited to tune in and join in the fun from home."

There are two events planned. The first is at 5pm with young people aged 13 to 16, and the second is at 7pm with young people aged 16 to 18.

Jonathan adds: "In each session, we hope to ask the Bishop some great questions and also play a few games – will the Bishop be the champion, or will the young people win the victory? Observers will also be encouraged to share their own questions and comments with the new Bishop-elect of Chester."
