The Bishop of Birkenhead, and Acting Bishop of Chester, Keith Sinclair, has written an open letter to the diocese thanking people for their response to the crisis and highlighting a national day of prayer this Sunday.
His letter forms part of a regular coronavirus briefing to the diocese which will be used to distribute important updates and information, as well as resources and ideas to parishes at this challenging time.
In his letter, Bishop Keith highlights a number of key responses taking place this weekend, including a national day of prayer and action on Sunday 22 March led by Churches Together in Britain and Ireland. People are invited to pray together especially at 7.00pm and to light a candle and place it in the window of their homes.
