Following the Archdeacons' visitation services across the Diocese during the month of June, we held a training day at Church House on Saturday 13 July for any new church wardens. We were delighted to see so many new wardens serving in our churches. We had various speakers from Church House and two long serving wardens came to give us valuable advice from their experience . This was followed by an excellent Q&A session. We appreciate all our wardens and the time they give to serve locally. We ended the morning with lunch and an opportunity to chat to the team.
We have had a lot of positive feedback including this from Janet: As a new Churchwarden I wanted to thank Jane and Mike for the Churchwarden Training this morning. It was so useful and very helpful. A lot of things have now clicked into place! Having the chance for fellowship with other Churchwardens was lovely and so useful to hear from the experienced Churchwardens. I still have a lot to learn but I now know who to contact for any advice I need. With grateful thanks We have another training morning for all churchwardens on 12 October at St John’s Church, Lostock Gralam Book Here
A Thank you to Churchwardens from Bishop Mark.
