Help people find your church during Easter by adding your Easter services and events to AChurchNearYou.com.
80 percent of people who come to AChurchNearYou.com are first-time visitors, so there is a huge opportunity to use the site to encourage local church attendance.
Traffic on AChurchNearYou.com peaks annually (second only to Christmas) in the period Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday, so here are three tips for making the most of this.
1. Add and tag your events
Make sure you add your events and services to your church and benefice pages and tag them with all the tags that apply, this could include 'Lent', 'Easter', 'Easter Day' and 'Good Friday'. These tags will appear at the top of the tag list when you're adding your events and services. This will ensure that visitors will find the kind of services and events they are looking for and increase the visibility of your events. You can also use the 'livestream' tag if you are offering online services.
Tip: Remember to add the ‘Lent’ or ‘Easter’ tag so your service or event appears under the ‘Lent & Easter’ tab on your church’s services and events page.

Many people who only come to church occasionally may look to attend an Easter Sunday service, so we recommend making your Easter Sunday service the event that is featured on your church's homepage within AChurchNearYou.com.
