Diocesan Consultants School Support Package

This page gives details of Diocesan school improvement support package for the academic year 2022-23.

An important change to note is that the service will be administered on our behalf by CDAT school improvement and training services. This sits separately to the academy element of CDAT; apart from who you need to contact  with administrative queries, you will see no change to the services that are offered.

In brief, we offer the following services to schools:

  1. Headteacher Performance Management external consultant support.
  2. SIP support for school performance and general review; this can be purchased as a full three ½ days visit package so that regular termly update visits are built in, or as a single ½ day annual visit (which can be purchased in multiples) for smaller schools.
  3. School improvement support/CPD package – this is tailor-made on themes requested by the school (see attached request form). Use the package order form to select this option (which can be for a full or half day of support) and can be used to support aspects of evaluation, leading CPD, working alongside staff etc.

For this option, please specify exactly what you would like support with on the school support request form and submit it by e-mail to Emma Furlong: emma.furlong@cdat.co.uk

The full offer booklet, which outlines the different services available, pen portraits of our Diocesan and Headteacher consultants and copies of the proformas to be used, as well as the applicable code of conduct and QA procedures is available via this link: CDBE-CDAT School Improvements Package

All requests for support (using the School Improvement Package Order form) should be submitted by e-mail to Emma Furlong: emma.furlong@cdat.co.uk

Please get in touch directly with Mark Whitehill with any queries regarding selection of consultant or if you ever have any concerns/queries about the work carried out to support you and your school.

All administrative queries should be directed to Emma at CDAT services

If concerns remain once school leaders have made initial contact with CDBE to attempt to resolve any issues, Neil Dixon (CDAT CEO) will deal with the QA process and any formal complaints.

Finally, despite the change of administration arrangements, we are pleased to be able to hold our costs at this year’s level and are confident that our services offer very good value for money, particularly when combined with the high quality of our consultants.

Please do get in touch with any queries and we hope you will consider the consultant service to support your school improvement needs.
