The Upton Youth and Community Project, Macclesfield ( a CIO ) was formed in 2019 after the remodelling of the Church of the Resurrection, Upton Priory. The COVID lockdown led to the distribution of food parcels and then the start of a food pantry. This has grown to over 100 households visiting the church each week to select food items for a £3.50 fee.
We, the four trustees of the CIO, employ a Pantry Leader and a van driver to help run the pantry itself. However the complexity of the overall CIO operation means the trustees and treasurer now need further support in the form of the attached voluntary role
