Public notices

In certain cases the Diocesan Chancellor requires faculty applications to be publicised via the diocesan website in addition to the normal physical display of public notices at the church in question. Any current cases are set out below.

Form 4A (Rule 6.2) Public Notice (general form)

In the parish of Church Minshull

NOTICE IS GIVEN that we are applying to the Consistory Court of the diocese for permission to carry out the following:

Re-ordering and heating works including:
a) Removal of five rows of pews (from both sides of the central aisle) from the west end of the nave
b) Removal of the pulpit and the Victorian choir stalls
c) Re-use of removed pews in the space cleared by the removal of the pulpit and Victorian choir stalls
d) Re-use of material from pulpit and the remainder of removed pews for panelling of the lower portions of the nave north and south walls and window recesses
e) Carpeting of the area where pews have been removed
f) Replacement of the heating system, installing new fan convectors
g) Purchase of 110 Chorus Theo stackable chairs

All in accordance with:

5) Type of proposed chair stated on Page 5 of superseded Statement of Needs dated 13 January 2017

(If changes to a church are proposed, a copy of the petition and of any designs, plans, photographs and other documents that were submitted with it must be displayed in the church or at another place where they may be conveniently inspected by the public.)

If you wish to object to any of the works or proposals you should send a letter stating the grounds of your objection to The Diocesan Registrar at Diocesan Registry, Church House, 5500 Daresbury park, Daresbury, Cheshire, WA4 4GE

so that your letter reaches the registrar not later than 03/08/2019 

A letter of objection must include your name and address and state whether you live in the parish and/or your name is entered on the church electoral roll of the parish or
any other basis on which you have an interest in the matter.
