School Improvement Advisor

Chester Diocesan Academies Trust (CDAT) is a well-regarded and thriving multi-academy trust of eleven primary schools across Cheshire, Wirral, Stockport and Tameside. Our schools range from very small rural schools to large schools serving diverse urban areas. All are part of the Chester Diocesan family of schools.
As our trust continues to grow, we are looking to expand our School Improvement team so that we can continue to provide high-quality support and professional development for schools within our trust and beyond. The successful candidate will have access to the local government pension scheme (LGPS). The role will follow a hybrid working model including time working at home, in schools and at our trust office in Daresbury.

The role will include:
•    working directly with schools to support and improve teaching and learning,
•    planning and delivering professional development sessions, including on our School Direct teacher training programme,
•    leading the trust’s work in a key subject area and contributing to wider curriculum support and development,
•    co-ordinating the work of the trust’s network of lead teachers.

Experience of/specialism in STEM subjects at primary level (or a specific maths specialism) would be particularly welcome.
