Paul Nelson, Churchwarden at St Andrew's parish church, West Kirby, offers a prayer in the lead up to Thy Kingdom Come.
Paul prays that he and his parish are able to preach the kingdom of heaven to the whole community and not just to those in "our fine church buildings".
This year Thy Kingdom Come runs from Thursday 13 to Sunday 23 May.
