"Communicate the love of Jesus"

The Revd Elaine White is the Curate at St Mary's Liscard, Wallasey, an urban area of deprivation. In the lead-up to Thy Kingdom Come, she offers two prayers that have been inspired by the strong sense of community that she has witnessed in the area. She talks of how people's needs will change as we emerge from the Covid pandemic and how we can find the language to communicate the love of Jesus to others so that people can come to know him.

This year Thy Kingdom Come runs from Thursday 13 to Sunday 23 May.

The Diocese of Chester is encouraging everyone to participate. Whether you are new to prayer or it has been your lifelong discipline, there are resources to help you participate individually or as part of your family or church.

Thy Kingdom Come 2021, 13 to 23 May
