Remembering the Falklands War
Churches around the country and parts of the Diocese of Chester will lead services to remember the Falklands War later this month, including at St Paul's, Sale which will be the venue of a civic service organised by Trafford Council.
Unity at the Cross
A number of different Christian churches from Chester, including Orthodox, Baptist, Catholic, Free Church, Charismatic, Anglican, Presbyterian and Methodist, gathered outside St Peter’s at the Cross in Chester for a united act of prayer and worship.

Everyday faith deanery events return in July
After a short hiatus, the plan to roll out the Everyday Faith project across the diocese continues with a meeting for parishes in the deaneries of Birkenhead, Wallasey and Wirral North on the 7th July, followed but a meeting for parishes in the deaneries of Chadkirk, Stockport and Mottram on the 18th.
Warden of Pastoral Workers and Readers retires
The Revd Canon Vivien Gisby is soon to retire from her dual role as Warden of Pastoral Workers and Warden of Readers, positions that she has held for ten years and five years respectively. She is moving to become vicar of St Paul’s church in Macclesfield.

Final preparations for Clergy Gathering
Clergy from the Diocese of Chester will gather in Derbyshire from Monday for a four-day conference. A booklet can be downloaded containing workshop, seminar and live stream details.
Director of Development to begin in June
Harriet Roberts has been appointed as the new Director of Development. The new role, funded by the National Church, has been created to help build a new vision and strategic direction for the diocese.

Dance music worship
The Revd Simon Stride, a curate at Holy Trinity, Stalybridge, believes that dance music is a great way to spread the word of God and to attract the younger generations into church. Recently he organised an EDM worship event.

City Passion play returns to Chester
