A glorious day for the Ordination of Priests

On Saturday 18 June, 12 men and women were ordained as priests at Chester Cathedral. The sun was out in full splendour which made for some great photos of the ordinands in the Bishop's garden and after the service, outside of the cathedral.

Warden of Pastoral Workers and Readers retires

The Revd Canon Vivien Gisby is soon to retire from her dual role as Warden of Pastoral Workers and Warden of Readers, positions that she has held for ten years and five years respectively. She is moving to become vicar of St Paul’s church in Macclesfield.
