To bring some Christmas cheer this Advent, the dioceses of Chester, Manchester and Sheffield have teamed together to launch the Ultimate Online Advent Calendar.
Every day from 01 December until Christmas Eve, a new video will be released to bring some Advent Calendar action, a daily dose of chocolate, and a meaningful reflection for young people, and adults for that matter!
The Ultimate Online Advent Calendar will make the long wait for the festivities of Christmas that little bit easier, and create the opportunity to think about some important Advent themes too.

Youth, Children and Families Missioner in the Diocese of Chester, Jonny Masters, says: "Susie Mapledoram, from Manchester Diocese thought it would be great to have some Advent reflections for schools and youth groups to use during advent so that it might help them have one less thing to think about, and potentially provide some topics for discussion. We put out a request for contributions in October, and the effort, creativity and time put into the reflections is incredible. The reflections are so diverse – including music, poetry and thoughts for the day - there is something for everyone. Taking no more than a few minutes out of each day during advent to join in the fun will definitely be worth it. Share with your friends, and chat about the reflections with the hashtags #ultimateadvent and #uoac."
Susie Mapledoram says: “The Ultimate Online Advent Calendar is a joint project with our friends in Chester and Sheffield and is designed to be used in youth groups and schools, as well as share across our social media platforms each day through to the last instalment on 24 December."
