On a glorious sunny Good Friday day in Chester, Vicar of St Peter's in Chester, Jonathan Phillips and his team are giving away a massive amount of Hot Cross Buns to the people of Chester in celebration of Good Friday.
It's not the first time that they've done it, but with 3000 buns to slice, toast, and butter, more than ever before, it's certainly the biggest. And with such glorious sunshine, it's probably one of the brightest too.
Jonathan says "It's a real team effort, only made possible thanks to the volunteers and parishioners who have made it happen. Donations from parishioners enabled us to buy 3000 buns and our butterers and toasters, led by Darren, who runs his own catering company are giving their time for free."
