The Diocesan Secretary, George Colville, has expressed his gratitude and thanks to Allchurches Trust for its annual grant of just over £160,000 which is given to the Diocesan Board of Finance.
The grant is awarded each year and in recent years it has helped to fund the employment of a Church Buildings Missioner, the Clergy Conference, and improvement works to parsonages in our diocese.
George Colville says: “The generosity of Allchurches Trust has helped fund the Diocese of Chester in employing a Church Building’s Missioner in 2020. This role supports parishes in our diocese to better understand the part their church building plays in mission and Church growth.
“The money also funded the successful Clergy Conference in 2019 at which diocesan clergy gathered in their hundreds to learn together, pray, and share in fellowship.
“We have also been fortunate enough to be able to fund improvement works to several parsonages in our diocese thanks to the grant from the Allchurches Trust.”
Allchurches Trust is a grant-giving charity that gives money to churches across the country every year in support of local mission, capital build projects, and outreach work.
