During this time, the Diocese of Chester is trying to create fun ways for worship at home.
Chester Diocesan Academies Trust has come with the #prayerjarchallenge, a fun competition to see who can come up with the most exciting and creative prayer jar.
To help children think about the meaning of prayer, parents and carers are invited to help children to create their own DIY Prayer Jar.
This activity could go along with a discussion about what prayer is, why we pray, and specific Bible verses related to prayer.
You might want to focus on just one thing. Maybe you could think about things to be thankful for, even in these difficult times, and create Gratitude Jars. You can use anything you can find in the house – be creative!
