In May many of our churches marked Christian Aid week by holding services, hosting events and raising funds.
In what are challenging times it is wonderful that as a diocese we are able to continue to support our church’s development agency.
Local Christian Aid rep, Christel said: “Thank you so much to all who have baked, cycled, swam, preached and done anything to raise much-needed funds for Christian Aid this year. The £30,000 that Chester Diocese traditionally raises makes such a difference to our ability to support our partners around the globe – Thank you, each and every one of you!”
Christel Langdon-Griffiths is our local Christian Aid representative and is available to attend chapter meetings to talk on various topics. Christel is an ordained C of E minister and has experience across several diocese and chapters. She has worked for Christian Aid for 4 years and is available to talk about Legacy giving, Global Neighbours Schools accreditation, the climate crisis or CA’s work more generally.
Do get in touch with Christel if you’d like to invite her to speak. Clangdon-griffiths@christian-aid.org
