The Revd John Hellewell has begun as a diocesan Mission Adviser, a new role within the Department of Outreach. John will be based at Church House and will be working to support parishes with their missional objectives.
He says he's looking forward to getting to know people in the parishes and working alongside them to support them in their ministry.
John will also serve as Incumbent of Thornton-le-Moors, Ince, and Elton. He was inducted by the Bishop of Chester on the 07 July at St James', Ince. You can see photographs from the service on their Facebook page.
