Thy Kingdom Come Pilgrimage

The Mission team, in partnership with Foxhill House and Woodlands, are delighted to invite you to take part in the Thy Kingdom Come Pilgrimage taking place on Sunday 20th May. The pilgrimage begins at Foxhill House and Woodlands at 9am and will be carrying the prayers gathered across the Diocese. We will be walking ten miles to Chester Cathedral for the Thy Kingdom Come Beacon Event. You can join the pilgrimage at any of the below times and locations, just select your preference on the booking form. We look forward to seeing you there.  Book your place here


The day will run as follows:

9.00am Arrive at Foxhill for Bacon Sandwiches (Vegetarian option available)

9.40am Briefing for the Pilgrimage.

9.50am Worship.

10.10am Depart Foxhill.

11.00am – 11.15am Alvanley (nr. WA6 9DD)

12.10 Lunch (bring your own) for 20 minutes

1.00 – 1.05pm Dunham on the Hill – joining point at the Wheatsheaf (WA6 0LL)

2.15 – 2.45pm St Bartholomew’s, Great Barrow – Worship, Refreshment and joining point (CH3 7JF)

3.30 – 3.35pm Guilden Sutton – joining point at Meadow Lea Farm Coffee Shop (Address: Station Lane, Mickle Trafford CH2 4EH to walk along the Greenway to Chester City Centre. From here the walk is accessible to all.

5.00pm (Latest) Chester – Food will be provided.

6.30pm Service Starts

8.00pm Service Ends
