Catalyst children and youth training course


The Catalyst course, delivered by Ridley Hall, is starting in September and is fully funded by the Church of England (except for travel expenses). Catalyst is open to those that are just starting out in children and youth ministry, those more experienced or those looking for a pathway into further training. The course core topics include safeguarding, cultural awareness, working in groups, discipleship, self-knowledge, self-reflection, theology, biblical studies, play, informal learning, mission and evangelism.

The general dates will be:
Saturday 28th September 2024 – Induction Day in York
 
Session 1 - Thursday 24th October 2024, Church House, Daresbury (7pm)
Session 2 - Thursday 21st November 2024, Church House, Daresbury (7pm)
Session 3 – Thursday 19th December 2024 Church House, Daresbury (7pm)
 
Conference (location tbc) - Friday 31st January to Sunday 2nd February 2025
 
Session 4 – Thursday 20th February 2025, Church House, Daresbury (7pm)
Session 5 – Thursday 27th March 2025, Church House, Daresbury (7pm)
 
Celebration Saturday 17th May 2025 - Ridley Hall, Cambridge
