Sale St. Anne

St Anne, Sale is a large, friendly Anglican Church, in a mixed suburban parish in south Manchester, within the liberal catholic tradition and a diverse mix of age, ethnicity and Christian experience. St Francis now holds occasional services and is increasingly active in the community. The benefice has a combined population in excess of 19,000.  The staff team includes a stipendiary curate.

A Vicar is sought who has:

  • A collaborative leadership style
  • A positive and supportive approach to choral and music tradition
  • An ability to look afresh at the gifts of the congregation and help to grow a new vision, whilst valuing the traditions
  • A willingness to engage with the challenges of increasing the finances so that mission can flourish
  • An imaginative approach to scripture and the ability to engage with all ages in the parish.

There is an excellent vicarage with good local amenities.
