There is no pilgrimage happening in 2015

However if you are older than 18 you can make your own way to Taize over the summer to find out more head to the Taize website

A week I will remember for the rest of my life.  A chance to meet new people and really find God.

(Anon, 16, Wirral)

A new video of a week in Taize filmed by young people has just been released, watch it here

Taizé is a Christian community in central France. Young adults from all over the world journey to Taizé and stay for a week.  They enter into the rhythm of community life—gathering together for Taizé’s unique worship and joining with people of other countries for meetings, meals, workshops, practical tasks and relaxation.

Are you aged 15-18*? Are you up for a challenge? For the past sixty years the community at Taizé has hosted the largest youth gatherings from around the world. Each year thousands of young people from every continent and nation, and speaking a variety of languages, flock to this little village in France to live alongside the community of brothers and to pray for peace, justice and reconciliation.

An amazing place to get closer to God.
A place where you can search yourself and find out who you really are.
A place where you can ‘let go’ of some of the burdens we carry.
And a wonderful experience; one which must be experienced, as it cannot be described
Why not sign up for a life transforming experience and join us?

*You need to be in school years 11, 12, or 13 as of 1 February 2015 to attend the pilgrimage
