Money made from any lettings belongs to the governing body, unless the Trust Deed indicates otherwise.
All expenses such as heating, lighting and caretaking must be reimbursed to the school's budget, and any profit then paid into the governors' account. This is one source of funds to help towards building work. It is important that an appropriate agreement is made between the governors and the hirer.
There are two hiring forms for use by aided schools, one for Church based groups and one for non-Church groups provided by the National Society.
