Melanesia September visit


The Most Revd George Takeli, Archbishop of Melanesia, his wife Mrs June Takeli will be visiting the UK from 14th September to the 6th October. You are invited to five events in the Diocese of Chester where you can also meet the Anglican Church of Melanesia’s (ACoM) Diocesan Secretary, Dr Abraham Hauriasi and ACoM’s Acting Mission Secretary Revd Nigel Kelaepa.

Prayer service- Wednesday 20th September 10am there will be a short Service in the Priory Chapel, Priory Street Birkenhead,Ch41 5JH to remember John Coleridge Patteson, First Bishop of the Solomon Islands. All welcome.

Chester Cathedral- Sunday 24th September Archbishop George will preach at the 10am Eucharist in Chester Cathedral.
