Bishop Libby at ‘Discerning Women’ Conference

undefinedBishop Libby Lane, will be in Lancashire this weekend for a conference organised in conjunction with The Church of England in Lancashire. Young women aged 16-40 from across the North West will be attending the 'Discerning Women' Vocations Conference which takes place on Saturday.

During the day there will be the opportunity to hear a keynote address from Bishop Libby, the Bishop of Stockport, who was the first woman Bishop, and to participate in a Q and A session with her as well. A crèche will be available and lunch is provided. Also attending the conference is Rt Rev. Geoff Pearson, the Anglican Bishop of Lancaster.

‘Discerning Women’ takes place on March 18 at St Leonard’s Church in Penwortham. There are still places available for anyone in the North West (or beyond) who wants to attend.
