The aims of IME Phase 2 are:

  • To assist in the development of the skills and competencies for undertaking a post of primary responsibility or an assistant clergy post
  • To assist personal formation in and for ministry
  • To set in place good patterns and practices for future ministry
  • To broaden possible horizons for ministry
  • To equip those who will lead the church through the coming years in the light of changes in church and society

Introductory Notes for IME Phase 2
IME Phase 2 supports newly ordained clergy. It's a four year programme, inclusive of the training curacy. Besides supporting curates, IME Phase 2 offers support during transition to new posts following the training curacy.
