Being There in Bereavement
Date:
4th October 2018
Time:
19:00- 21:30
Description:

Resource your parish’s ministry with bereaved people in four sessions at Church House this Autumn.  This well-established training module is available to anyone who is interested in reflecting on practical, pastoral and theological responses to loss and grief, and care for dying and bereaved people in a parish context.  The module is open to members of church pastoral care and bereavement teams, as well as to licensed ministers wanting to reflect on their practice.

Sessions will be on Thursday evenings from 7– 9.30pm on October 4 and 18, and November 15 and 22.

The module is being led by the Revd Peter Mackriell, Vicar of Kelsall and Director of Studies for Pastoral Workers.  Places are limited; bookings should be made via Peter Bacon peter.bacon@chester.anglican.org

The content of this module means that it is not appropriate for those who have been recently bereaved.  For advice, please contact the Revd Peter Mackriell at Church House.
