Conversations about mental health

For the third consecutive year we are linking with World Mental Health Day (10 October) by organising a day for picking up conversations on mental health issues, sharing experiences and resources. The day will build confidence amongst the delegates in their engagement with mental health matters.

The morning will consist of facilitated conversations and workshops on the following:

• Addictions
• Anxiety and depression
• Dementia
• Eating disorders
• Psychoses
• Self-harm and suicide

Delegates are asked to choose two conversations to join when they book (plus a reserve).

The afternoon will consist of workshops on, for example:
• Liturgy
• Language
• Spiritual aspects of mental health

• 10.00 Welcome, introduction and opening worship
• 10.50 Refreshments and group conversations
• 12.45 Lunch (supplied)
• 13.30 Afternoon workshops
• 14.15 Plenary
• 15.00 Closing worship and depart

The day is organised by:
