Missing Women

Building on the success of the second Women’s Voices Conference in September 2016, This year we look at “Missing Women”.

* Where are the women in the Bible?

* Why does the Bible seem not to speak to women?

* How can we re-read the Bible to find a woman’s narrative?

Our keynote speaker is Revd Dr Miranda Threlfall Holmes, author of The Essential History of Christianity (2012), The Little Book of Prayer Experiments (2016), The Teenage Prayer Experiment Notebook (2015), Being a Chaplain (2011), and soon to be Team Rector in Liverpool. She is a Member of General Synod, and was heavily involved in the campaign to open the episcopate to women and men on equal terms.
