This workshop is fully booked
During this workshop you will learn how to use PowerPoint (Microsoft software) to help you create effective presentations.  Say goodbye to ‘Death by PowerPoint’ by understanding how a few simple techniques can make all the difference in the way you communicate with a room of people.

You will learn how to use important features of the software, employing good techniques and what pitfalls to avoid. At the end of the session you’ll be much more confident in how to use PowerPoint, know what the software is for, and how to make the best use of it.
The workshop will cover:


  • Using Templates

  • Copywriting

  • Using Images

  • Embedding Video

  • Embedding Audio

  • Storytelling

  • Personal Presentation Techniques


The course will be facilitated by Stephen Freeman, the Communications Officer for the Diocese of Chester. As well as running various media related courses for the diocese, he has also run national training days at Church House, Westminster.
