Faith, Hope and Poetry

John Lindley will lead several poetry workshops that will be both directly and tangentially related to the themes of Faith and Belief. The day will be stimulating, non-intimidating and fun. No poetry writing experience is necessary.

John Lindley is former Cheshire Poet Laureate and Manchester Cathedral Poet of the Year. He is an experienced performer who runs poetry workshops for writers’ groups, festivals, prisons et al. His latest collection of poetry Dylan Thomas Embers and Sparks was published in 2014. John performs Crossing the Divide which is a collection of his poems inspired by the religious paintings of Christian artist Daniel Bonnell
